Mount Shasta Nature School
Your Generosity nurtures
learning that lasts a lifetime
Your support is the legacy for future generations
Mount Shasta Nature School was born from a shared vision - to bring children back to the rhythm of the Earth, to the wonder of the forest, and to the joy of learning through curiosity, passion and belonging. Our classrooms are gardens, creeks, and mountain trails where curiosity leads, hearts open, and community grows. We invite you to walk beside us in this living classroom. Your partnership helps create a future where education is local, ecological, and soulful.
Our Story
Mount Shasta Nature School integrates Montessori Erdkinder, forest education, and community mentorship to serve ages 3–18. Children learn practical academics through gardening, animal care, ecology, wilderness skills, holistic tracking, arts, storytelling, and emotional literacy. Our goal is to raise capable, compassionate, land-connected young people who see themselves as caretakers of the Earth.
Our Vision & Impact
We believe that learning in relationship with the land awakens responsibility, creativity, and belonging. Each partnership directly supports student scholarships, outdoor classroom supplies, farm tools, art materials, and teacher training.
